WWE News: Kevin Owens on head-butting Vince McMahon; life on the road

In an interview with al.com, Kevin Owens opened up on a myriad of topics.
Owens prominently spoke about the surreal feeling he experienced before the Vince McMahon head-butt segment. KO also opened up on how tough life on the road is.

The WWE is one of the few professional wrestling promotions in the world that have an extensive travel schedule.
In fact, most other promotions prefer organizing the vast majority of their events in a specific region. However, given the WWE’s global popularity, the Vince McMahon-helmed organization puts forth several events worldwide all-year-round.
The heart of the matter
Kevin Owens recalled how he spoke with Curtis Axel about the latter’s late-father ‘Mr. Perfect’ Curt Hennig constantly travelling from one city to another, with the only form of communication being via phone call. Owens elucidated that with today’s social media and communication advancements such as FaceTime and apps of the sort, staying in touch with one’s family & loved ones has become considerably easy.
Furthermore, Owens credited his loved ones, explaining that it’s their support which makes it possible for the WWE Superstars to be on the road around the year. KO continued that the WWE Superstars’ wives, in particular, take care of their families, their children at home, and put in a ton of work so as to make it possible for WWE Superstars to be on the road. As for the head-butt segment with Vince McMahon, KO stated—
“No I really can't, honestly. It's pretty indescribable. But it's something I'll remember forever, I'll guarantee you that (laughs).”
Kevin Owens is presently in an alliance with Sami Zayn—with the duo being supported by SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan against the blue brand’s Commissioner Shane McMahon.
The ongoing storyline is expected to play out further in the lead-up to the Royal Rumble PPV later this month.
Kevin Owens is spot-on as regards life on the road is concerned. Kudos to the respective families of each and every WWE Superstar.
As for the SmackDown segment which saw Owens execute a perfect head-butt on Vince McMahon, it went to further accentuate Mr McMahon’s professionalism and passion for the business.
