WWE Superstars Kevin Owens recently spoke to MLive.com about many subjects from his idolization of Shawn Michaels to his career path. But during the interview, they breached into a very interesting subject matter when Kevin Owens discussed how he would react if his children told him they wanted to follow in his footsteps as a pro wrestler.
In case you didn't know...
Kevin Owens might come off as someone with a very rough exterior on television, but he's really a huge family man at heart. He loves his family more than anything and his children mean the world to him.
He has worked hard to supply for his family and give them everything they have but the pro wrestling world isn't for everyone because it takes a special breed of individual to make it.
The heart of the matter
Kevin Owens revealed to MLive.com that he doesn't necessarily "hope for" his children becoming pro wrestlers but he would welcome the idea. In the end, he said he doesn't have a preference because like a true super dad, he just wants his children to be happy on the path they choose for themselves.
“I don’t hope for it, but if they want to then they’re more than welcome. I have no preference. I just want them to be happy. I always pursued this dream, but for the first 7 years that I was a wrestler, I worked at a gas station part-time.
I finished high school but still needed a job to make money to live on. I was lucky enough to have the boss to give me time off I needed to wrestle. I think you can be happy doing whatever you want in life as long as it fulfills you can you get something out of it.”
What's next?
If Kevin Owens' children become second-generation Superstars down the line, it wouldn't be surprising. After all, his son Owen is a huge pro wrestling fan and could very well follow in his father's footsteps one day.

Vince McMahon loves second-generation Superstars because they seem to have something special in them from the get-go. Kevin Owen's children would probably be no exception if they picked the pro wrestling world as their profession.
Of course, Owens would be happy as long as his children can find a place in this world to call their own that makes them happy which is really all that should matter.
