In case you didn’t know…

New Day were formed by WWE way back in 2014 and they have been together ever since. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E have changed brands and won multiple titles but they still remain the only stable that is yet to be broken by the creative.

The heart of the matter

Kofi Kingston was talking to Argus Leader when he revealed that there are no plans for the stable to split up any time soon. He pointed out at the merchandise sales and products as the main reason for them to remain intact.

“It’s kind of hard to justify (breaking up) that with the things we’re doing right now with our merchandise sales and all the products we’re coming out with, the fanbase that we have. We have a unique way of connecting with the crowd, so it doesn’t really make sense to split us up at all, even if we wanted to.”

Talking about how the stable first cam together, Kofi said,

“Initially, Woods and E were talking about getting together and doing some sort of a faction. At that point in my career I was looking for a change, and it seemed like the perfect change. It was going to be three guys who were disgruntled with their positions in the company and wanted better, and that was the truth. Obviously, when we debuted, it ended up being a lot different from that.”

What’s next?

New Day isn't in the tag-team title frame right now and are in the mid-card section. They are doing well in entertaining the fans and nobody actually has any issues with it. Unless
