What’s the story?
Earlier this week, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, took it to his official Instagram account in order to confirm the news that he is going to be appearing in Paris games week later this week.
Angle posted a clip in which he said that he is going to be in France’s capital later this week and will also appear at Raw in Manchester next week followed by a show in Birmingham UK.
In case you didn’t know…
WWE is currently on their United Kingdom tour—a tour which the company organizes every year. The tour first kicked off earlier this week in Glasgow, Scotland and WWE have since then taken it to Brighton and London.
This tour has so far featured many superstars from WWE’s red brand of Monday Night Raw and has also witnessed a return of former 14 time World Champion Triple H, who has been teaming up with The Shield in this tour lately.
The heart of the matter
WWE’s on-going UK tour has already featured the return of Triple H but on Monday the WWE universe will witness the return of the Olympic gold medalist, Kurt Angle, as he is all set to make an appearance in Manchester for Raw.
Angle, himself confirmed the news on his official Instagram account that he will be appearing at the Manchester Arena next week. The former WWE World Champion also stated that he will be appearing in Birmingham when WWE arrives for a live tour on 7th November.
However, despite making his in-ring return last month it has not been confirmed whether Angle will wrestle in front of the UK crowd. But chances are likely that the Raw GM will not lace up his boots next week on UK soil.
What’s next?
Kurt Angle was named as the Raw team captain for this year’s Survivor Series 5-on-5 traditional tag team match. Angle will lead the red brand when they wage war against Smackdown Live come November 19th at the Toyota Arena.
As far as, Raw in Manchester goes it seems like Angle will only appear in order to address the WWE universe and do his job as the General Manager. However, we could witness Kurt Angle reveal his team members for Survivor Series next week on Raw.

I believe that the only reason Angle will appear at Raw in Manchester is to play his role as both team captain of Raw and the General Manager. It will be interesting to see how things will unfold this coming Monday at Manchester.
