WWE News: Kurt Angle reveals his list of the top stars on Raw

What's the story?

Kurt Angle is a WWE Hall Of Famer who prides himself on wrestling ability. Therefore it would be a natural assumption he might have an opinion of who should be on top in WWE. Nepotism aside, he was able to come up with a pretty comprehensive list of names during a recent Facebook Live session.

In case you didn't know...

After spending a decade away from WWE, Kurt Angle finally came home for WrestleMania 33's festivities where he was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. This deserving title was followed up by an appointment as Raw General Manager following The Show Of Shows.

The heart of the matter

Being the General Manager of Raw means Kurt Angle has plenty of time to scope out the current talent pool.

During a session on Facebook Live, Kurt Angle was asked who he considered the top stars on WWE's Red Team.

“On Raw- Cena. Roman. Rollins. Finn. Sheamus. Cesaro. Wyatt. Brock. Braun. Hardys. Miz. Jason Jordan. (You see how I threw Jason in there? Lol.)”

It should be noted Kurt Angle picked Jason Jordan as the final option because it probably meant more to him.

What's next?

Kurt Angle might wrestle again eventually in WWE, but even if he never makes a full return to the ring for a match, he still created plenty of memories inside the squared circle. As he keeps up his duties as Raw GM, it's apparent Kurt Angle is having an amazing time during his WWE resurgence.

Author's take

It's hard to argue with the choices Angle made when he was asked about WWE's top stars. The only one up for any kind of contention is Jason Jordan but his talents in the ring are pretty extraordinary.

The former Amateur wrestling standout hasn't had much time to develop as a top singles competitor just yet. But in time, we very well might see a huge push for Kurt Angle's storyline soon as soon as the fans warm up to the idea.
