What’s the story?

Earlier in the week, WWE superstar Lana earned herself her first ever WWE win when she along with her husband Rusev defeated the duo of Elias and Bayley in WWE’s ongoing Mixed Match Challenge tournament.

Following her first ever win in the WWE, Lana took it to the social media in order to give her take and comment on such a historic moment in her career.

In case you didn’t know…

Following this week’s edition of Smackdown Live, former WWE United States Champion Rusev teamed her up with her wife Lana as the pair faced off against the duo of Elias and Bayley in the on-going WWE Mixed Match Challenge.

After a solid match from both teams and a brilliant display of effort from all four competitors, Lana earned the win for her team after she pinned Bayley and secured her first win in the WWE.

The heart of the matter

After obtaining her first win in the WWE, Lana took it to her official Twitter handle in order to comment on her win as she labeled her first victory as a “miracle”. Additionally, “The Ravishing Russian” also stated that she won her first wrestling match on ‘Rusev Day’ against one of the greatest in-ring competitors of all time, as she praised her opponent Bayley by billing the former Raw Women’s Champion as a history maker. Lana concluded her tweet by stating that she does indeed believe in miracles and dreams. You can check out Lana’s tweet below:

What’s next?

Lana and Rusev have now progressed in the second round of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge, where they will either face off against the duo of Nia Jax and Apollo Crews or Charlotte Flair and Bobby Roode.
