WWE News: Lana responds to fan criticism
Lana says don't worry
What’s the story?
The WWE Universe is used to seeing Lana alongside her husband, Rusev. However, due to the recent Superstar shakeup, the WWE has decided to split the duo of Lana and Rusev and give the Ravishing Russian a new gimmick.
However, some fans have taken issue with this manager. The former manager of the ‘Bulgarian Brute’ took to Twitter to respond to her critics.
Rusev hasn’t been on WWE television since his defeat at the hands of The Big Show at Fastlane. The Bulgarian Brute has taken time off to recover from a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, Lana has been at the Performance Center, preparing for her new role on SmackDown LIVE.

The heart of the matter
All indications point to Lana returning to WWE programming with a dancer gimmick, but several fans thought that it was very reminiscent of Emma’s aborted Emmalina character.
Many fans have taken to Twitter to voice their frustrations with Lana, but she brushed off the criticism and took to Twitter to respond to her fans. Here are her exact words:
Although there have been several vignettes promoting the arrival of the repackaged Lana, there is no official date for her return to WWE programming.
Lana’s response to her critics may be considered bold and brave, but even a bold statement can become a poor one if not worded correctly and the ‘Ravishing Russian’ did just that. Look at the above tweet one more time, and you’ll notice her mistake. If you haven’t, then here is what she did.
Lana mentioned that she has a black belt in Muay Thai, there is just one problem, there is no black belt in Muay Thai. This blatant error on Lana’s part may raise questions as to whether or not she really is ready to wrestle on the blue brand.
The WWE Universe may be excited about Lana’s return to wrestling, clumsy errors like the tweet should not be tolerated. I mean, it's great that Lana is making a return with a brand new gimmick, but if she isn't able to prevent herself from messing up on social media, who’s to say she who’s to say she won't do it in the ring. In addition, the possibility that the new gimmick is a rip off from ‘Emmalina’ doesn’t really do her any favours.
