WWE News: Latest development regarding the death of Chyna

Chyna is considered an icon for female professional wrestlers

Barely a day after the tragic death of former WWE superstar Chyna, who dominated the wrestling world is the `90s and is considered as an icon for female wrestlers all over, it has now emerged that suicide may not be the cause for the wrestler’s passing – reports allwrestlingnews.

Police, while searching her apartment, found nothing that linked her death to a suicide. Chyna, whose body was found by a friend at her home in Redondo, California, had been dead for at least a day.

According to TMZ, law enforcement officials stated that there was no sign of a suicide note inside her apartment. The officials also confirmed that she had been dead for at least a day or two before a friend discovered the body.

No illegal drugs were found at the scene, but officials did uncover some legal prescription bottles, which sources pegged at around three to four. The bottles hadn’t been emptied, seemingly ruling out the possibility of an accidental overdose.

However, Chyna’s neighbors seem to tell a different story and have stated that she may have died of an overdose as she had been acting under the influence in recent times.

Following the announcement of Chyna’s death, which was confirmed by her publicist, social media was flooded with tributes from former colleagues and fans to the wrestler, who undoubtedly paved the way for women to enter a male dominated sport.
