Lillian Garcia fought back tears while speaking about her possible Hall of Fame induction.

What’s the story?

Lillian Garcia recently featured as a guest on her own podcast, Lillian Garcia: Making Their Way To The Ring, where she was interviewed by Ryan Satin and Ashley Daniels.

Garcia spoke on a myriad of issues during the episode, with the most prominent segment being about her potential induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

In case you didn’t know...

Lillian Annette Garcia is a former WWE ring-announcer who holds the distinction of being the first WWE Diva to have ever stayed with the company for more than 10 years. The 50-year old is well-known for her time as a ring-announcer in WWE from 1999 up until her retirement last year.

The heart of the matter

Garcia fought back tears when the topic of her being possibly inducted by WWE into the Hall of Fame arose. Here are a few excerpts from her statements regarding the same-

“Seriously guys, if I ever got that call – I don’t even know how I can contain myself – it would mean that much to me. This business is something that I absolutely love…is my attachment to my dad for sure and it is just something that has been so…the journey has been so incredible and all I ever wanted to do is just do my best and go out there and make the stars shine with the (ring) announcement.”

Author’s take

Lillian Garcia had a distinguished tenure in the WWE and most definitely deserves to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. It was genuinely tear-jerking to see her get emotional upon discussing the aforementioned possibility, and I look forward to the day the legendary voice of WWE gets her rightful place in the prestigious Hall of Fame.
