Garcia will be the first woman in pro-wrestling to start her own podcast

Former WWE announcer, Lillian Garcia announced that she would be starting two podcasts, one in English and the other in Spanish. Garcia made the announcement on SiriusXM's Conversations with Maria Menounos.

Garcia also announced that she would be the first woman from pro-wrestling to do her own podcast, and the first person to do a Spanish-speaking podcast. Garcia's English-language podcast will be called "Making Their Way to the Ring", and her Spanish-language podcast will be called "Luchando Con Lilian Garcia".

Garcia's podcasts will be produced by AfterBuzz TV, which is an online broadcast network managed by Maria Menounos and Kevin Undergaro. No launch date for the podcasts has been announced as of yet. Menounos tweeted out the announcement, which you check out down below:

Speaking about "Making Their Way to the Ring" Garcia said that:

I’ve worked with these amazing superstars, male, female, in the WWE and yet, a lot of them, I don’t really know all their story, their backstory, ah, their obstacles.

Everybody, you know, thinks about the limelight, and the easy road, maybe that they’ve taken, or maybe they hear about the hard road, but they don’t really hear about the hard road and so I called it, the first show is called “Making Their Way To The Ring”.

On her Spanish-language podcast, Garcia said:

“It’s gonna be of its own kind, because it’s, um, the wrestlers are going to be different and they deserve their own platform for sure…Los Luchadores…And The show is called Luchando. Luchando really means, like you’re striving for, you’re fighting for something, really going for it, so again, it does fit with wrestling.”

Garcia who's best known amongst the pro-wrestling fan base for her work in the WWE, left her announcing job this past August so that she could care for her ailing father, who's battling two different unidentified types of cancer.

Talking about her podcast, Garica has said that she’ll have stars from WWE, TNA, and the Independents thus, it will be really interesting to see the stars Garcia will get for the show.
