What's the story?
Enzo Amore dated Liv Morgan for a while and you can't teach that, but the two haven't been seen together for some time leading some to believe the couple is no longer an item.
Liv Morgan's recent social media message about cheating while saying she's single, helped those assumptions along as well.
In case you didn't know...
Enzo Amore might be the "Realest Guy In The Room" on WWE television but he formed a relationship with Liv Morgan backstage while in NXT. The two started dating and seemed to be a good fit for each other.
But recently Enzo has become known more for his exploits outside the ring. He was at the Connor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather fight proudly showing off how he spent $10,000 for his seat. While at the fight he rubbed elbows with A-List celebrities and made some money betting on Mayweather in the process.
But rubbing elbows with celebrities might be a chief reason why Enzo Amore has so much heat backstage in WWE. He was reportedly thrown off a WWE bus and was banned from dressing in the locker room for his over-the-top braggadocious behaviour.
Enzo's move to 205 Live might have been a strategic one but it has also proved to be a successful combination so far.
The heart of the matter
It would appear Enzo's backstage heat with the WWE locker room over his top-dollar adventures might have caught up with him on the relationship front as well.
Liv Morgan recently posted a social media message with the line: "me knowing that I'm single and nobody cheating on me" attached to a gif of her casually drinking Smart Water.
It's not clear if she's talking about Enzo or saying he cheated. But Liv did say she's single now.
So far Amore hasn't commented on it but several of Liv's fans have. We will be paying close attention to Enzo's promo on Monday and Tuesday night to see if he throws in any Morgan-related double entendre.
What's next?
Liv Morgan has a bright future ahead of her. She needs to keep her head on straight and stay focused. If she plays her cards right she could be on her way to some great things in WWE.
Meanwhile, Enzo Amore is looking to capture Neville's WWE Cruiserweight Championship and he could see himself on the top of 205 Live very soon. He's already the biggest name on the Cruiserweight roster and looks to elevate the show with his continued involvement.
Author's take
It's hard to do an article like this without feeling like I'm burying Enzo Amore. The fact is I've been a fan of the Certified G's since his days in NXT. I could also put a down payment on a used car for the amount of merchandise I've bought with "you can't teach that" on it. So maybe I'm part of the problem because it might boil down to Enzo letting fame and wealth get to his head.
Enzo seems like he enjoys the attention though and he thrives in a setting where he can stir the pot. I wouldn't be surprised to see him as a great heel someday. As the number of people parroting his catchphrases diminish we might be getting closer to heel Enzo becoming a reality.
