WWE News: Liv Morgan responds to Nia Jax 'scraps' comment with personal dig involving Enzo Amore

Is Nia just after Liv Morgan's 'scraps'?
Is Nia just after Liv Morgan's 'scraps'?

What's the story?

Team Rude lived up to their moniker on Twitter recently when Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax took offence to SmackDown LIVE's Liv Morgan's perceived imitation of Bliss' pink pigtails and called her out for it. Something that Liv Morgan wasted no time in responding to.

In case you didn't know...

Before we get to Liv Morgan's reply there's some much needed out-of-kayfabe context for why Liv Morgan's response is actually quite a personal and brutal one. Back in NXT Liv Morgan and Enzo Amore had a prolonged relationship which Morgan allegedly ended around half a year ago.

The heart of the matter

So, let's take a look at what Liv Morgan responded to Nia Jax's tweet.

It took me a while to understand this, which is why context is everything, but Morgan is referencing what appears to be the ongoing kayfabe romance storyline that has been brewing on Monday Night RAW between Nia Jax and her real-life ex-partner Enzo Amore and essentially calling Jax out for going after her 'scraps'.

You can say what you want about Liv Morgan's wrestling ability, but judging from this tweet her promo skills are fairly legitimate, as she's managed to blur the lines between reality and kayfabe to continue the Twitter beef that Team Rude started.

What's next?

Nia Jax and Liv Morgan will have a chance to say how they really feel to each other face to face pretty soon as both women have been officially announced as entering the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match at the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and if this Twitter exchange is anything to go by, it's sure to be entertaining.

Author's take

Twitter arguments between WWE Superstars are always excellent at blurring the lines between real life and scripted promos as you're never entirely sure how much input the WWE has when it comes to the Superstars' interactions with each other. However, this seems to be something that has come from Morgan, and Morgan alone.
