What's the story?

Ronda Rousey isn't known for being a pushover. The legendary UFC fighter turned WWE Superstar has led an amazing career and is known for both taking and dishing out some serious punishment. However, Mark Henry revealed just how tough the Raw Women's Champion really is.

In case you didn't know...

Rousey hasn't exactly shied away from the idea of getting beaten up during her WWE run. Rousey took some brutal chair shots from Becky Lynch and Charlotte recently, and described the experience as "cool."

Back in 2016, Ronda Rousey had what some may call minor knee surgery. The former UFC Bantamweight Champion was currently working on getting back inside the octagon after losing to Holly Holm at UFC 193.

The heart of the matter

Mark Henry told an interesting story about Ronda Rousey on Busted Open Radio this week. The WWE Hall of Famer brought up one of his most painful experiences in his lifetime. The World's Strongest Man was getting surgery to help repair his knee and hip flexor. Henry described the operation, saying that they drill into your hip bone to pull out the marrow, spin it, create a serum, and inject it wherever it needs to go.

As painful as that sounds, Henry said that he was put under for the operation. However, he said that when he woke up, it was the worst pain he had ever felt in his entire life. That's when he brought up Ronda Rousey.

I heard that ROnda Rousey had it done before and they didn't use anesthesia to put her under. They drilled into her hips and extracted the stem cells while she was awake. It hurt her but she was able to do it, and I'm going to tell you guys right now. I could not have done that.

That's one incredible ringing endorsement from the former World Heavyweight Champion.

What's next?

The Raw Women's Champion is on a warpath now. After getting mauled with chair shots by Charlotte at Survivor Series, the Baddest Woman on the Planet is looking to make a statement. She'll get her chance at WWE TLC when she defends her championship against Nia Jax.

After hearing Mark Henry's story, Nia Jax may want to rethink her game plan for the match. Ronda Rousey may be too tough to beat.
