WWE News: Mauro Ranallo removed from WWE's social media accounts list

Ranallo joined the SmackDown broadcast team in January 2016

The voice of SmackDown LIVE, Mauro Ranallo, has been missing the past few editions of the show. Ranallo has admitted that he suffers from bipolar disorder and it is believed that his current hiatus from the WWE is due to the mental illness.

Earlier today, it was reported that Ranallo’s Twitter bio no longer cites his work relations with the WWE. And now, it is being reported by RingsideNews that WWE have removed him from their social media accounts list.

Although there is no official statement issued by WWE, such an action from the company might be an indication of a soon-to-be-confirmed release of the veteran commentator. This can also point towards the fact that Ranallo will be taking time off to heal from the illness or has already asked for his release from the promotion.

In this regard, some rumours surfacing over social media blamed his fellow play-by-play commentator and WWE legend, JBL, for bullying Ranallo, aggravating his illness. Such backstage altercations may be related to the absence of Ranallo from the weekly shows of the blue brand as well. JBL, however, has denied such accusations.

We wish Mauro Ranallo a speedy recovery and eagerly wait to hopefully hear his voice again in the upcoming episodes of the SmackDown LIVE, although it is looking increasingly unlikely.
