What's the story?
Michelle McCool is a two-time WWE Women's Champion, and since her retirement in 2011, she's been taking it easy with her family in Texas. You might have heard of her husband because he allegedly retired at WrestleMania 33.
Charlotte Flair is currently enjoying a great run on SmackDown Live, and although she's not currently in the title hunt, it will only be a matter of time until Flair is adding to her number of WWE Women Championship title reigns.
But The Nature Girl is always up for a match against Michelle McCool, and by the sounds of it, McCool is more than ready.
In case you didn't know...
During her run in WWE Michelle McCool was highly entertaining and she looked very good in the process. She flaunted her skill and beauty around the ring on a nightly basis which saw her rise to the top of WWE's women's roster during a time when the women weren't granted the same spotlight they are today.
She is one of those trailblazers in the infant stages of the WWE Women's Revolution and much like Maryse, McCool could always find herself coming back.
The heart of the matter
All of this started when Michelle McCool sent out a simple congratulatory message to Charlotte Flair after she finished reading the new book "Second Nature: The Legacy Of Ric Flair And The Rise Of Charlotte." It really is a great book and I highly recommend it.
Charlotte responded by thanking McCool while challenging her to another match in the process. She also included a purple heart and winkie face emoji so there were no hard feelings attached to her comment. Charlotte, like so many others, might just love to see Michelle McCool back in the ring.
It looks like Michelle McCool has been waiting for someone to ask her to come back. If these two blond bombshells ever did meet in the ring there could be some major fireworks for sure.
From the sounds of it, McCool is waiting by the phone for a call from WWE so they can go ahead and make this match happen. After all, The Undertaker and McCool have a wrestling ring in their house so she's got plenty of opportunities to get that ring rust off without ever leaving the comfort of her home.
What's next?
It looks like Michelle McCool could have been gearing up for a return without anyone even knowing about it. Therefore, maybe all it would take is a phone call and Michelle McCool could be on the next flight to make a television taping.

These two might be magic in the ring together and it could result in a very special moment. Charlotte Flair has been compared to a lot of people in her career including her famous father The Nature Boy as well as Michelle McCool.
The Undertaker's wife is still in amazing shape and at 37-years-old she's in no way too old for an in-ring return. It might be incredibly fun to see McCool come back to WWE and mix it up with some of the younger members of the roster.
Even if it's just for one highly promoted match it would be great to see her return. After all, she would be an incredible influence and someone any women in WWE would be lucky to learn from.
