WWE News: Mick Foley undergoes another surgery

Get well
Get well soon Mick!

What's the story?

Mick Foley has done a lot of damage to his body through the years and it looks like he's finally getting a real chance to fix himself. So soon after his hip surgery in April, he's set to undergo another procedure.

In case you didn't know...

Mick Foley was the Hardcore Legend in WWE and he took that title very seriously. There were few people who could do what he did in the ring and even fewer who would take the bumps he put his body through.

Foley seemed happy as Raw General Manager but he was in pain behind the scenes. The Mickster had to take some time off television to get a much needed hip surgery which is why he was kayfabe fired on television.

Reports are Foley is doing better at this point. He was at least doing well enough to take a YouPorn Plex from Joey Ryan at an OTT Wrestling show in Dublin Ireland in August.

The heart of the matter

Although it might seem like Mick Foley's hip is doing better he recently let fans know he was in line for another surgery already. He is scheduled to get his right knee replaced which was set to occur about five minutes after he sent out his social media update.

Surgeries are a part of life when you're a pro wrestler so Mick Foley didn't seem down and out. This is just one of the many receipts he has to pay due to his brutal WWE Hall Of Fame career.

Hopefully, we'll get some good word from Mick after he finally "kicks out" of anesthesia.

What's next?

Mick Foley needs to take it easy because he deserves it. He gave so much of his body to the fans during his extraordinary career and continues to do all he can for the people who cheered for him all these years.

Odds are Mick Foley will still do whatever he can to make people smile and let them know how much he's appreciated them being there for him throughout his career.

Author's take

Going under the knife is never a fun thing. But Mick Foley deserves the best medical treatment he can get. If he eventually finds his way back to WWE television on a weekly basis I wouldn't complain. I just hope next time he comes back his body is in better condition to handle the busy demands of a WWE schedule.
