What’s the story?Following the conclusion of The Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, numerous WWE fans took to social media in order to express their animosity towards recent booking of Monday Night Raw’s newest superstar Mike Kanellis, who as some might’ve noted, was eliminated within seconds during the first ever 50-man Royal Rumble match. However, Kanellis himself apparently feels otherwise and doesn’t seem to agree with the fans, as he took to his Twitter handle and explained the reason for his disagreement. In case you didn’t know…Mike Kanellis made his WWE debut in 2017 during the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, alongside his wife Maria. Prior to signing with the WWE, Kanellis was one of the hottest stars on the Independent scene and was also a very popular figure in Ring of Honor as well.Having previously competed for Impact Wrestling as well, Kanellis remains a former X-Division Champion, ROH World Tag Team Champion, and a one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion as well, an accomplishment which he achieved alongside Matt Taven. The heart of the matterMike Kanellis took to his official Twitter handle and tweeted out the following:Millions of guys and girls would love to work for WWE. Hundreds of guys and girls that work for WWE would love to be on the main roster. I work for WWE, on the main roster, on the RAW Brand. But WWE is doing me wrong? Give me a break. 🙄 #perspective— Mike Kanellis (@RealMikeBennett) April 28, 2018In doing so, Kanellis also pointed out the fact that several guys and girls from around the globe would be absolutely overwhelmed to work for the WWE and hundreds of male and female superstars would love to work for the company’s main roster as well, whereas, Kanellis himself has been competing on the WWE’s main roster for the red brand of Raw, which definitely does speak for itself. You don’t get it. Putting things in perspective does not mean complacent. Maybe to you they are mutually exclusive, but to me, it means a happy healthy mind. I can be happy and want more. https://t.co/IhwqvAjGSj— Mike Kanellis (@RealMikeBennett) April 28, 2018What’s next?Following the aftermath of the WWE Superstar Shake-up, Mike Kanellis is now ready to begin a new journey on the red brand, that is, Monday Night Raw.Author’s TakeBeing a fan of Mike Kanellis, I do hope that the WWE realizes how good of a talent ‘The Miracle’ actually is and eventually give him a solid push in the mid-card.
