WWE News: Mojo Rawley responds to criticism from fans during the Fastlane show
What’s the story?
Following the conclusion of the Fastlane pay-per-view earlier today, WWE SmackDown Live Superstar Mojo Rawley took to social media in order to respond to all the criticism and hate he received from the WWE Universe in Columbus, Ohio during the Fastlane show.
In case you didn’t know…
As noted during the Fastlane pay-per-view, last year’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner Mojo Rawley competed in a six-man tag team match on the kickoff show.
Rawley, who teamed up with Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin on the night, unfortunately, ended up on the losing side when they lost to the trio of Tye Dillinger, Tyler Breeze, and Fandango — collectively known as Breezango.
The heart of the matter
During his six-man tag team match at the Fastlane pay-per-view, Mojo Rawley was sadly on the receiving end of some extreme criticism and hate from the WWE Universe at the Nationwide Arena, who seemingly chanted “you can’t wrestle” towards the former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman.
Following the incident, Mojo took it to his official Instagram account and responded to the fans by claiming that he simply does not care about being a good wrestler and doesn’t care what people think of him and his in-ring abilities.
In addition, Mojo also made a bold statement when he claimed that he is a real athlete, a real competitor, and a WWE Superstar, who has never been a technician in anything he has ever done and is the type of competitor who makes his own moves based on passion, intensity, and effort.
As of right now, it is still not clear where the WWE creative is heading with Mojo Rawley, however, let us hope that they get to do something productive with the former Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner and put him in a meaningful feud.
I think it is a really sad situation to see fans express their hate and criticism towards a particular star in such manner, but Mojo Rawley deserves full credits for handling the situation in a mature manner.
