SmackDown Live Superstar Naomi was a guest on Afterbuzz TV, where she discussed a variety of topics, pertaining to sports entertainment and beyond. We thank Ring Side News for the transcript of the same.
Naomi expressed her desire to face pop culture sensation, Beyonce, in a match someday. Not a singing contest, but a sports entertainment showdown in the WWE.
In case you didn't know...
Beyonce first rose to fame as a member of the group Destiny's Child, with whom she sold 60 million albums. She became a solo artist soon after and sold a 100 million albums during her solo run. She's as grand as it gets in the world of entertainment.
Forbes even listed her as the most powerful female in the world in 2015 and 2017. All of these accolades have had a profound effect on Naomi, who wants to face her idol in the ring someday.
The heart of the matter
Naomi makes no bones about wanting to face Beyonce in a WWE match:
I would have to say Beyonce, because she's my idol. Beyonce is great at everything. You can't be great at wrestling too. I think that's one thing she's not good at and I would be better than her.
While the thought of this match may seem outrageous at first, think of all the celebrities who have stepped into the ring, over the years. This match could certainly happen some day.
The only thing is that, especially at WrestleMania, the celebrities always win.
What's next?
Last we saw of Naomi, she was taken out by the Riott Squad. We wonder when she will make her return to the ring, following the massive beatdown. Ruby Riott better watch out!

Naomi vs. Beyonce could definitely draw new viewers to WWE. I'm not particularly a fan of celebrity matches, but I do understand the appeal of this big match. If it does happen, there's no way Naomi's going over!
