What’s the story?

In a recent house show in Aberdeen, Scotland, former WWE Smackdown Live Women’s Champion Naomi snatched “The Ravishing Russian” Lana's hair live in front of the Scottish crowd.

In case you didn’t know…

WWE is currently on their yearly United Kingdom tour and recently held shows in cities such as Glasgow, London, Brighton, and Aberdeen as well.

Superstars from both Raw and Smackdown have been a part of this tour and have been wrestling over different cities in the UK as well as across Europe.

Smackdown Live’s female Superstars have also been teaming up with each other a lot in these house shows and going toe-to-toe against each other in various arenas across the UK.

The heart of the matter

The Smackdown crew were in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland last night and put up another great show for the Scottish crowd, as part of the current UK tour.

During the show, former Smackdown Women’s Champion Naomi and Becky Lynch teamed up with Charlotte Flair, and the trio competed in a four on three handicap match against the team of Carmella, Natalya, Tamina Snuka, and Lana.

It was during the match when Naomi decided to pull off a hilarious stunt when she snatched Lana bald in the middle of the ring, live in front of thousands of people.

Naomi grabbed Lana’s hair and slammed her right into the mat which eventually led to the incident. However, Naomi didn’t seem to be bothered by it as she laughed it off and played along with the crowd.

What’s next?

The Smackdown Live roster’s main focus will be towards focusing on this year’s Survivor Series match.

The female Superstars of the blue brand will be led by Becky Lynch and will do battle against the red brand of Raw, come November 19th at the Toyota Center.

Author’s Take

I found Naomi’s actions to be absolutely hilarious and I think it goes on to show how charismatic she is inside the ring and her ability to connect with the crowd in a hilarious manner.
