On Tuesday just before SmackDown Live started this week, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville walked out on Monday Night Raw and asked for his release. At the time the story broke, Satin couldn't confirm 100% that this was the case.

It is now being reported from F4WOnline (Dave Meltzer / Bryan Alvarez) that they can confirm that Neville did walk out on the show this past Monday night. It also appears that Neville quit the WWE completely, but that is not confirmed yet, and the WWE is denying that he has left the company as well.

It was previously reported that Neville was the original challenger for Enzo Amore in the Lumberjack Match to close Raw this week, but instead, they put Kalisto in the match and had him win it. The original plan was to have Neville lose his match to Enzo on Raw.

For what it is worth, Neville was not on 205 Live after SmackDown Live this week either. Hopefully, the two sides can come to an agreement as Neville is one of the best performers they have in the company.

His transformation into the King Of The Cruiserweights was outstanding, and he proved he could use the same persona in a babyface role when he stood up for the Cruiserweight Division and attacked Enzo at this championship celebration a couple of weeks ago.

Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for further developments on this situation.
