Enzo Amore is set to defend his title against a new challenger

What's the story?

It seems that Enzo Amore's victory over Kalisto has ended the back and forth battle between the Cruiserweight Champion and the former Cruiserweight Champion and that 205 LIVE is set to establish a new challenger for the top title in the division.

In case you didn't know...

Enzo Amore and Kalisto clashed over the Cruiserweight Title during the Survivor Series Kickoff show, during the match Amore resorted to his questionable tactics to yet again pick up a dirty victory over his opponent.

The heart of the matter

On the following Monday Night RAW after Survivor Series, Enzo Amore celebrated with 'The Zo Train' his stable of Cruiserweight allies consisting of Drew Gulak, Tony Nese, Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari. However the Cruiserweight's faces interrupted the jubilations and an eight-man tag-team match was formed which Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, Akira Tozawa and Rich Swann won.

It now seems the WWE is set to make one of those four men the next challenger for Enzo Amore's title, as per the WWE press release for 205 LIVE

The team of Ali, Alexander, Swann and Tozawa was victorious following a jaw-dropping 0-5-4 executed by Ali. Each of the winning Cruiserweights certainly proved they are ready to earn the opportunity to face Enzo. Who will it be?

What's next?

If I was Enzo Amore, I wouldn't want to be facing any of those four men in the ring, Swann, Tozawa, Ali and Alexander are all special talents and with the right booking could be world champions, let alone Cruiserweight champions. However, we'll have to wait to see who gets the push on 205 LIVE

Author's take

My pick would be Cedric Alexander, the guy just has it. His finishing move The Lumbar Check is ridiculous and hard hitting and he's decent on the microphone. If I was making the decisions he'd be dethroning Amore as soon as possible.
