What's the story?

At WWE TLC 2017, Asuka made her main roster debut, continuing her unbeaten streak against a surprisingly resilient Emma with a hard-fought victory. However, it didn't take long for one of Raw's talented roster of women to call the 'Empress of Tomorrow' out.

In case you didn't know...

Emma won the right to face Asuka at TLC 2017 and potentially end her unbeaten streak by winning a fatal five-way match containing some of Raw's top female wrestlers on Monday Night Raw. She defeated Bayley, Sasha Banks, Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke to the opportunity.

The heart of the matter

However, there was one top female Superstar that wasn't involved in the fatal five-way match. In fact, she's been the subject of intense speculation because of her absence but it seems that Nia Jax is back and she has her sights set on Asuka.

In the tweet Nia Jax refers to the time it took her to beat Emma, making a point that she was able to put Emma away in a significantly quicker time than Asuka was able to do at the TLC pay-per-view.

What's next?

It is yet to be seen if Asuka will respond to Jax's challenge, but regardless of her response, we're going to have to wait to see a match between the two. Nia Jax is still on a leave of absence at the moment but is expected to be back for the WWE's tour of Europe in November. If the above tweet is anything to go by it looks appears that the dominant Superstar will be looking to cement herself as the one to beat Asuka.

Author's take

Hopefully, the WWE doesn't rush this feud between Nia Jax and Asuka as it has the potential to contribute towards a brilliant storyline. Personally, I'd have Asuka beat a few of the other women in the Raw women's division before I put her in front of Nia Jax.
