From The WWE Rumor Mill: Nia Jax granted leave of absence for personal reasons

Nia Jax might need a break

What's the story?

Nia Jax is a big, strong, beautiful Samoan Superstar and part of the legendary Anoa'i Family which includes just about every Samoan wrestler except Samoa Joe. Jax is a dominant force on Raw and although her alliance with Alexa Bliss seems to flip-flop every other week it looks like she's headed toward the top of the roster.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports their sources have confirmed The Girl Who's Not Like Most Girls has been granted a leave of absence from WWE.

In case you didn't know...

Nia Jax has flirted with the main event for a while now. Dave Meltzer reported Nia Jax vs Alexa Bliss is still the big women's program WWE sees on Raw. Therefore it should only be a matter of time before Jax gets a shot at the top.

The heart of the matter

There were reports earlier today that Nia Jax had walked out before Raw started on October 9th which is the same night Neville did the same thing.

Two big changes were made for the show that day. Neville and Enzo Amore were slated to have a match with Amore going over but Neville walked out.

Therefore changes were made to the show's final segment which saw Kalisto winning the Cruiserweight Title.

As previously reported, the second change of the night had to do with the match that would determine Asuka's opponent at TLC. Nia Jax was factored into every incarnation of the match but wasn't used in the final decision.

Pro Wrestling Sheet can confirm Nia Jax has been granted a leave of absence from WWE management for personal reasons.

Their sources could not confirm if she left angrily, but she is reportedly taking some time off and there's no word on how long she'll be off of what caused her to take this leave of absence.

What's next?

Hopefully, Nia Jax will be able to get back to business soon enough. But with Asuka's debut and the rest of the women's roster, the Raw Women's Division looks to be in good hands until she's ready to come back.

Author's take

I really wish Nia Jax the best of luck. She has something special and when she's able to tap into that really cool things are possible.

It's unclear at this point exactly what's going on but her social media activity has been pretty usual as of late with no mention of anything. I just hope the best for her and that she can get back to the ring as soon as possible.

Jax a hero for a lot of people and as she continues to champion for those who need someone to represent them her influence is going to only grow in importance.
