With the WWE Draft looming on the horizon, more than a few NXT stars may get called up for the main roster shows, RAW and SmackDown. It has been rumored that these Superstars will have to work in NXT, as well as in the main roster till Takeover: Back to Brooklyn in August.
Several wrestling fans want to see former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley in the main shows of WWE but her promotion was postponed. The main reason behind such decision was that NXT lacks top women babyfaces at this point and losing Bayley wouldn’t help at all. Instead, Dana Brook was given a spot on RAW and it seems another NXT villainess will be called up soon.
As reported by wrestlinginc.com, the former #1 Contender for the NXT Women’s Championship, Nia Jax is next is line for a main roster promotion. Jax’s absence during last night's NXT TV tapings adds more fuel to the rumor.
In the recent edition of SmackDown, WWE announced a tag team match for Battleground pay-per-view between the team of Charlotte, Dana Brook and Sasha Banks with a partner of her choice. This has resulted in speculation that Bayley will be working at Battleground while Jax will be debuting on either RAW or SmackDown.
If the rumors prove to be true, Nia Jax will be debuting in the main roster of WWE within a year of her debut in NXT.
