Nia Jax has taken to social media so as to jive about Kurt Angle announcing Alexa Bliss as Braun Strowman’s MMC partner.
Apparently, Jax isn’t happy about not being paired with Strowman but seems to be taking the announcement in her stride nonetheless. The Monster Among Men also reacted to the development—
In case you didn’t know…
Braun Strowman and Nia Jax have been lobbying for them to be paired up as Tag Team partners in the WWE’s upcoming Mixed Match Challenge (MMC).
Nevertheless, the process of pairing the male and female Superstars in the tournament is said to be based on fan-voting; with the WWE announcing the teams as and when the voting process gets underway.
The heart of the matter
Apparently, Braun Strowman seems to be excited about being teamed up with ‘The Goddess of WWE’ Alexa Bliss; alluding that ‘The Monster’ paired up with ‘The Goddess’ do indeed make a great team.
On the other hand, with Monday Night RAW’s General Manager Kurt Angle having made the announcement of Strowman and Bliss joining forces for the MMC, Nia Jax jested that Angle is the worst.
Furthermore, Jax also chimed in with a wordplay of sorts; pointing out that Alexa is ‘bliss blocking’ her lately; what with the latter having interfered in her ongoing romance/comedy angle with Enzo Amore over the past few weeks.
What’s next?
The WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge airs from January 16th and will feature multiple teams—each comprising a male & female participant—competing against one another for a chance to win $100,000, the proceeds of which will go to a charity of their choice.
The WWE MMC tournament will be a series spanning 12 episodes and shall air on Facebook Watch.

Honestly speaking, how awesome would it be if the WWE allows their most physically imposing male and female athletes in Braun Strowman and Nia Jax compete as a team in the MMC.
Regardless, it’s great to see Jax taking the entire situation sportingly. Besides, who wouldn’t want to wrestle alongside the RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss?
