What's the story?

Nia Jax may have made history at WWE Royal Rumble 2019 but she has also managed to garner insane amounts of heat for an alleged incident that happened prior to her entrance into the Men's Royal Rumble match.

As we had reported earlier via Rajah.com, Jax was under fire for legitimately hurting R-Truth during the blindsided attack at the Rumble and that Truth himself was unhappy with the former RAW Women's Champion.

Fans ripped into Jax on Twitter, who has had a lengthy history of accidentally injuring her co-workers. The 34-year-old Superstar broke her silence on the situation and predictably put out a brassy tweet to counter all the heat coming her way.

In case you didn't know...

Jax replaced R-Truth, who was the original 30th entrant in the men's Royal Rumble match. Jax put on an impressive performance as she eliminated Mustafa Ali before being dumped out of the match by Rey Mysterio.

She became the first superstar to appear in two Rumble matches on the same night and was part of one of the most entertaining segments of the night. However, on the recent episode of Jerry 'The King' Lawler's podcast, the WWE legend confirmed that Truth was indeed quite upset with Nax over hurting his ankle and face during the assault.

A video of Truth searching for Jax after Rumble was also released by the WWE which more or less pertained to the storyline that was unfolding. The heat between Jax and Truth, though, was legit.

The heart of the matter

Jax seems to be amused by the apparent backstage heat and used it as an opportunity to rub fans the wrong way with the following tweet:

Some fans liked the manner in which Jax responded to all the criticism and noted that Truth was granted the WWE United States title because of his angle with Jax.

What's next?

Jax may have diverted the heat with a classic heel tweet but that doesn't take away from the fact that she is quite unsafe in the ring. As for R-Truth, the WWE veteran is now the reigning United States champion and would have surely forgotten about his Rumble embarrassment.
