WWE News: Official confirmation that Ember Moon will be missing NXT Takeover: Chicago due to injury

Ember Moon is injured and will miss the next NXT PPV, WWE confirms.

Ember Moon will be out of action for a while

WWE.com has just confirmed that Ember Moon will not be seen performing at NXT Takeover Chicago which is scheduled to take place later this month.

Ember’s injury occurred during the No. 1 Contender Battle Royal that William Regal had arranged to determine who will challenge Asuka for her NXT Women’s Championship Title.

Ruby Riot, Nikki Cross and Ember Moon were attacked by the champion, Asuka, who sent Moon flying through the turnbuckles with the latter taking a fall to the outside, falling on her shoulder.

Most fans and critics could tell that Ember was in fact injured and it is only now that we have official confirmation from WWE that her injuries are not a part of the storyline and that she will be missing the Fatal 4-Way Match for the Women’s Title at NXT Takeover: Chicago.

The PPV match is now being billed as a Triple Threat Match between Asuka, Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross

Ember hopes to be back in the ring soon and she mentioned that she will be better than ever when she comes back.

NXT fans will surely miss Ember at Takeover and we hope that the Superstar will recover soon and come back to challenge Asuka or whoever will hold the NXT Women’s Championship in the coming weeks.
