Strowman wasn't the only star who shone through the main event

What's the story?

Last night's tag team battle royal was amusingly not even about the tag teams! Braun Strowman was the star of the show as usual as he went on to demolish the entire tag team division in a matter of minutes.

While the Monster Among Men impressed as usual, Karl Anderson put on a solid showing too as he was the final man in the ring with Strowman.

The former Tag Team Champion was so elated after his performance that he possibly teased a singles run on Twitter.

In case you didn't know...

The aforementioned tag team battle royal was the main event of last night's Raw and involved four tag teams of the red brand. Revival, Slater & Rhyno, The Club, and Titus Worldwide were in for the shock of their lives though as Strowman marched down the ring before the match began and barked at the referee to kickstart the match.

The numbers game couldn't stop the Monster Among Men from booking an unlikely WrestleMania spot as he cleared the ring and ended the show by pointing at the WrestleMania sign.

Strowman now aims to become the sole Tag team champion in WWE history unless Kurt Angle forces him to get a partner next week.

Meanwhile, Sheamus and Cesaro are busy going through the WWE rulebook.

The heart of the matter

While the Raw tag team division regained their senses in the aftermath of what unfolded on Raw, the WWE superstar with a hot Asian wife sent a message to the WWE Universe and seemed optimistic about going solo:

What's next?

It seems highly unlikely that the WWE would split Gallows and Anderson up when Finn Balor would need them by his side as part of the Balor Club.

Nonetheless, Anderson is a criminally underrated performer, who if given the limelight, can be a solid mid-card singles superstar.

Author's take

The WWE Universe has been sleeping on Anderson for way too long. The former NJPW star is as talented as they come -- both in the ring and on the microphone, but sadly lacks the prototypical look that's required to make it big in the WWE.

If Balor Club fails to take off then both Anderson and Gallows should waste no time on going back to NJPW.
