What’s the story?
The Raw After Mania is famously the biggest episode of the year and often features a main roster call-up or two from NXT.
Well, PW Insider has broken the news over the past few minutes that the Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering are backstage at Raw and could make their debut tonight!
In case you didn’t know…
The Authors of Pain, Akam and Rezar, are one of NXT's most dominant tag teams of all time. Managed by Paul Ellering, they're an incredibly formidable powerhouse team with a mouthpiece who more than talks them up as precisely what they are - two killing machines.
The Authors of Pain have previously won the Dusty Rhodes Classic Tag Team Tournament in 2016, and are former NXT Tag Team Champions.
The heart of the matter
Ahead of tonight's episode of WWE Raw, PW Insider have noted that there has been talk of Authors of Pain moving up to the main roster this week after failing to win back the NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT TakeOver this weekend.
Mike Johnson added that AOP and Paul Ellering are currently backstage at Raw.

Well, we won't need to wait too long to find out, as the Raw After Mania starts very soon indeed!

Well, I've been calling for this one for a while, the AOP is more than ready to move up to the main roster and, with the Bludgeon Brothers on SmackDown Live, Raw is definitely the right place for them.
