WWE News: R-Truth issues statement after undergoing surgery

What’s the story?

R-Truth has taken to social media in order to let fans in on his condition after he underwent shoulder surgery a few hours back, on December 4 2017.

In reference to the surgery, R-Truth asserted that it was a success, and although he’s a tad loopy because of the medication post-surgery, he’s well on the road to recovery—

In case you didn’t know…

R-Truth has been on the shelf owing to a shoulder injury since August of this year.

The WWE Superstar who performs on the promotion’s RAW brand, has been working hard so as to make an in-ring comeback—with the aforementioned surgery said to be playing a huge part in his recovery.

The heart of the matter

R-Truth greeted the fans, thanking them all for their support, before explaining the issues he faced—as both he and his wife, who was driving the car, emphasized that he had his shoulder blade sticking into his shoulder at an awkward angle about 1-2 inches deep.

Furthermore, R-Truth elucidated that he had a successful surgery, and is excited to get back inside the squared circle. He added—

“I’m a little loopy right now, still. Because of the anesthesia and medicine and stuff. Not in too much pain (though).”

Furthermore, R-Truth urged fans to visit his music channel; adding that he’s ready for any and every WWE title; hyped about his comeback. He also spoke about how he’s had several matches with WWE Champion AJ Styles before the duo got famous on TV; alluding that he’d like to face the latter in the near future.

What’s next?

R-Truth was involved in a feud with former Tag Team partner Goldust. With the former likely to return soon after his rehab process is complete, it’s possible that the WWE may run back that feud with Goldust.

R-Truth is a wily veteran and one of the most underappreciated talents in the sport today.

Honestly speaking, there was a ton of potential in his program with Goldust, and with ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy ready to take over RAW, perhaps Truth can bring back ‘Little Jimmy’, in a battle of the WWE’s most mysterious characters.
