WWE News: Randy Orton's daughter receives the Shield Triple Powerbomb

Things are crazy at the Orton household
Things are crazy at the Orton household

What's the story?

The Shield and Randy Orton have had many run-ins, in the past. Currently, they are not at odds, considering The Shield is the dominant faction on RAW, while Randy Orton is on SmackDown Live.

However, Randy Orton's one-year-old daughter was recently attacked and triple power-bombed by her brothers, in this Instagram video. Here's a warning, this video is not recommended for those who cannot handle too much cuteness.

In case you didn't know...

Randy Orton got married to Kim Marie Kessler in 2015. They were both blessed with a baby daughter, Brooklyn Rose Orton, the year after. Kessler has three boys from a previous marriage, and by all indications, Randy Orton gets along fabulously with all of the boys.

The heart of the matter

The brothers are all obviously big fans of The Shield. Imitating their favourite superstars, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, the three brothers would deliver the signature Shield triple powerbomb on their one-year-old sister. Fear not, for it was performed with the utmost care.

Not only did Randy Orton decide to document this moment of cuteness for all his fans to see, he also put a commentary track to it, to give The WWE Universe the complete experience. It's hilarious to see one of Brooklyn Rose's brothers even bellow out Roman Reign's signature 'Oooooaaaaaa' war cry.

What's next?

Randy Orton is one of the biggest players on SmackDown Live, as of right now. He was in the main event of SmackDown Live last week, as he battled Kevin Owens in a pretty well-contested match. We don't know if this particular feud will stretch over to this week, as well.

Author's take

I love it when WWE superstars share snippets of their personal life with the WWE Universe. Social media brings them ever closer to fans. Who knows if Brooklyn Rose will grow up to become a WWE Superstar someday, in the future!
