What's the story?

This week's episode of Raw saw the Raw tag team titles being vacated by Braun Strowman and Nicholas, apparently due to scheduling conflicts, as Nicholas is in the fourth grade! Kurt Angle then announced a Tag Team Eliminator, whose winner will take on The Bar at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia.

In case you didn’t know…

On WrestleMania last night, Braun Strowman set out in the crowd looking for a tag team partner and finally chose a 10-year old child, Nicholas, who was later revealed to be the son of WWE Official John Cone.

Braun Strowman and Nicholas defeated The Bar to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions at the Grandest Stage of them All.

The heart of the matter

This week on Raw, Braun Strowman and Nicholas told Raw GM Kurt Angle that they would have to relinquish the titles due to Nicholas' scheduling conflict, on account of him being in the fourth grade!

Hence, Kurt Angle announced that a Tag Team Eliminator will take place to crown the new Tag Team Champions. Angle announced that four teams would take part in the contest, with the winners taking on The Bar at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia for the Championship.

As announced, The Revival took on the team of Gallows and Anderson - The Club, on tonight's episode, with The Revival coming out on top.

In another match, Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt defeated Titus Worldwide. Hardy and Wyatt will take on The Revival next week on Raw.

What's next?

The Revival will take on the team of Woken Matt and Bray Wyatt next week on Raw. The winners will face The Bar on April 27th, at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Author's take

The Greatest Royal Rumble card is shaping up quite nicely, with Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns announced earlier today, and now a match for Raw Tag Team Championship has been scheduled. Of course, this is in addition to the 50-man Battle Royal match and the other matches already announced for the event.
