What's the story?
Roman Reigns and The Undertaker squared off in the main event of WrestleMania 33 in Orlando last year. The Undertaker suffered his second ever loss at WrestleMania, as the Big Dog stood tall and seemingly invincible.
Reigns spoke about not really being too happy with the match, on the CBS podcast- In this Corner. We bring you some interview highlights, thanks to Wrestle Zone.
In case you didn't know...
The Undertaker is known as perhaps the greatest ever WrestleMania performer, boasting a streak that wasn't broken until WrestleMania XXX. Roman Reigns is the chosen face of present day WWE, a man who has not really been accepted by fans in the role of the top guy.
Reigns and The Undertaker faced off in a match that many found to be quite disappointing. Roman Reigns too, echoed their sentiments wholeheartedly.
The heart of the matter
Roman Reigns spoke about the incredible legacy of The Undertaker, and how he felt disappointed with the outcome:
I just feel like in some way I wasn’t good enough. Maybe it could have been better on my behalf, but I always hold Undertaker so high in that regard that I just feel like maybe I could have been better. I enjoyed it, I really learned a huge amount in the ring with him.
The Big Dog then went on to say that he was proud to have had a chance to wrestle The Undertaker:
I’m very proud of that because I’m going to be one of the only guys who said they’ve been in the ring and wrestled with The Undertaker. John Cena gets the opportunity to do it this year, and it’s not the same for him because he’s been in the locker room with [Undertaker].

Let's be honest. It wasn't either Roman Reigns' or The Undertaker's best match.
