In case you didn’t know…
Renee Young has worked for the WWE as an on-air personality, announcer, and commentator since 2012.
The WWE previously teased including Young in a storyline alongside Dean Ambrose against The Miz and Maryse. However, the angle was relatively short-lived.
The heart of the matter
Renee Young is yet to prominently feature in any significant WWE storyline ever since, however, is one of the top stars on the WWE-based reality show Total Divas.
Speaking to Sam Roberts, Renee Young addressed a myriad of topics, also revealing a few intriguing facts about her workplace dynamics backstage in the WWE. Below are a few excerpts from Young’s statements regarding the same—
“I don’t really bother him (Vince McMahon) much….I would be more inclined to talk to a Kevin Dunn. I talk to Kevin all the time. ‘Like help me with this!’ Yeah, all the time. He’s actually really great.”
Renee Young presently serves as an interviewer and on-air personality on the majority of the WWE PPVs as well as Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live.
One ought to note that for the past several years, WWE producer Kevin Dunn is known to serve as a buffer between the organization’s majority owner, Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon and most employees.
Honestly speaking, it’s understandable that Renee Young may find Kevin Dunn more approachable than Mr. McMahon.
Vince McMahon works a hectic schedule and may not have the time to deal with each and every single employee at the grassroots level. Regardless, it’s awesome to see Dunn help out Young, thereby enabling her to bring a joyous and charismatic presence to our TV screens week after week.
