It is clear that several WWE fans are not in favour of Roman Reigns’s march to the top of the WWE food chain and social media is filled with comments against the new ‘face’ of WWE. But till date, no wrestler taunted Roman regarding his ‘lack of wrestling skills’.
Former WWE wrestler, John Morrison (now in contract with Lucha Underground as Johny Mundo) in an interview with The World According to Wrestling, stated that he would like to wrestle Roman 10 years from now – if he continues to wrestle – “because by then hopefully Reigns would figure out how to work”.
Roman’s uncle, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi responded to Johny’s comments on Reigns on facebook. He mentioned that Roman in his short 4-year wrestling career till now, has won the Tag team championship once, WWE Championship twice, has won the Royal Rumble, been the Wrestler of the Year (WWE Slammy Award in 2015) and even main evented the grandest show of them all, WrestleMania.
Taking a shot at Johny’s career, he wrote that Mundo couldn’t even think of achieving all these accolades in the first 4 years of his career and added that even he wouldn't have been able to reach the magnitude of achievements in the upcoming 10 years.
