WWE News: Rikishi's daughter arrested for driving an SUV into Trent Richardson's car

Richardson with his ex-girlfriend Sevina Fatu

What’s the story?

Sevina Fatu, the ex-girlfriend of former NFL running back Trent Richardson, was arrested on two counts of aggravated battery and one count of criminal mischief. Fatu reportedly rammed her Mercedes-Benz SUV into a car that contained Richardson and an unnamed victim.

In case you didn’t know...

Sevina is the daughter of, WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi. She is also the mother of Richardson’s four children. Despite being the daughter of Rikishi, Sevina Fatu has rarely made media appearances.

The relationship between her and Richarson has been strained and has resulted in domestic violence. In February, Richardson was arrested for third-degree domestic violence against Sevina. Although Fatu remained silent over the incident, Richardson mentioned in an interview with Al.com that the charges were false and that he would “never hurt a woman”.

The Heart of the matter

Richardson said that Fatu called him several times that morning. When she arrived at his place, she found that Richardson and the other victim were sitting inside his car. As they tried to leave, Fatu blocked them and eventually rammed her SUV into the passenger side of Richardson’s car. The two fled the car and notified the police while Sevina attempted to ram the vehicle yet again.

Fatu left the spot immediately but was later arrested at her home. Richardson revealed to the Police that he was the actual owner of the Mercedes-Benz SUV but allowed Sevina to use the car for their children.

What’s next?

As of this writing, Fatu is still in jail and has been held on a bond of $6,000. Al.com reports that court dates regarding this case are yet to be announced.
