WWE News: Roman Reigns gets special acting tips from former WWE RAW Champions

The Big Dog, soon on 'the big screen'
The Big Dog, soon on 'the big screen'

What's the story?

Roman Reigns is scheduled to be a part of 'Hobbs & Shaw', a film that also features Dwayne Johnson whom we all know and love as The Rock. While he may be a veteran in the ring, Reigns is pretty new to the world of Hollywood.

Whom did he rely on for advice and acting tips then? He shared a few words with the B-Team to understand their own experience in Hollywood.

In case you didn't know...

Roman Reigns announced that he would be relinquishing the Universal Championship in October owing to the fact that his leukemia had returned. He's back in the fold once again and his cancer is back in remission, thankfully.

While he was away, Reigns announced this massive acting role, where he plays the part of Hobbs' brother. The B-Team has obviously acted in The Marine 5, along with The Miz.

Thank you to Fightful for the following quotes.

The heart of the matter

Roman Reigns was a guest on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast recently. He revealed the real reason for his interactions with the B-Team:

I've always been the guy who has stayed on the live events. A lot of my co-workers have been able to jump that fence and be on a movie set. I was asking The B Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) about the movie they did with WWE and getting all the details and what the experience was like and the etiquette on set. Just a bunch of mark questions.

Roman Reigns was also all praises for The Rock. He continued:

It was neat to go through the experience and see how their magic is made. And to take my experience from live performance and television and use some of it and learn. It gave me a head start to understand the terminology and the method behind their madness. It was awesome to see Dwayne in his element and the world he's built. The really cool part was to be part of a film that highlights our culture, the Polynesian way of life.

What's next?

Roman Reigns is likely to take on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania. The challenge was laid out on RAW this week. Do you guys think he will potentially accept?
