WWE News: Roman Reigns hits back at fans criticising him on Twitter
Reigns put his message across to his haters.
WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns has been enjoying his ‘babyface’ run on Raw at present. Unfortunately for him, though, he does not seem to get as much support from the WWE Universe as some of the other superstars do.
Recently, a number of fans took to Twitter to criticise Reigns about things that they did not like about him. However, ‘The Big Dog’ is not one to take things lying down and defended himself with some comments of his own.
One of his critics questioned the way he carries his United States Championship belt on his back when he approaches the ring. To this, Roman answered, “It's not how you hold it. It's how you defend it. So how about...You worry about you, and I'll worry about me!”
@WWERomanReigns Just watched RAW, and it seems disrespectful to me the way to carry a title belt like a book bag. Show more respect for it— Justin Cooper (@Jcooper770) 15 November 2016
Another fan asked Roman Reigns when he was going to be as phenomenal as WWE World Champion, AJ Styles. Here’s the tweet followed by Reigns’ response:
A few minutes later, the same user tweeted to Reigns again taunting him for being available on Twitter while missing out on WWE live events. However, he got a perfect reply from the former WWE World Heavyweight champion who said, “Stop tweeting at work and earn some money. Then you'll be able to attend a live event and experience it yourself.”
Many of the other fans, though, put their weight behind Roman Reigns and appreciated the way he handled his critics. Here are some of the tweets through which they showered praise on ‘The Guy’.
