WWE News: Roman Reigns lands another big acting role

What's the story?

After the news broke last month that Roman Reigns would make his Hollywood acting debut alongside The Rock in Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, it has now been confirmed that Reigns has added another role to his resume.

In case you didn't know...

Roman Reigns has been off of WWE television since October 22nd, 2018 when he relinquished the Universal Championship and announced that he'd be stepping away from the ring indefinitely while he battles Leukaemia - a disease he has been dealing with for over 11 years.

Reigns was in Hawaii recently, and it was recently revealed that a huge part of that time was spent alongside his cousin, The Rock. Reigns' debut in Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw was announced by The Great One on his Instagram account before Reigns spoke out on his role in the movie shortly after.

The heart of the matter

Sports Illustrated has tonight confirmed that former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has landed another acting role, as he will appear on an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon’s Cousins For Life.

Scheduled to air on Saturday, March 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET, The Big Dog plays Leaf’s neighbour Rodney who is angry that Leaf’s pet pig dug up his vegetable garden. However, Stuart, Ivy, and Leaf discover there’s more to the story and come up with a plan to save their pig.

Don’t miss Roman Reigns’ guest appearance on Nickelodeon's Cousins For Life on Saturday, March 2nd at 8:30pm. Meanwhile, Hobbs & Shaw is set to be released in the summer and will be in cinemas worldwide.
