What's the story?

After the release of the new Hobbs & Shaw trailer today starring Roman Reigns in his Hollywood acting debut alongside Fast & Furious veteran actor The Rock, The Big Dog has now spoken out about his role and seeing himself in the trailer.

In case you didn't know...

The Rock has been a part of the Fast & Furious series since 2011, debuting in the fifth installment of the franchise, as the character Luke Hobbs.

Earlier this year, The Great One announced that Reigns would make his acting debut in the franchise alongside him via his Instagram account before Reigns spoke out on his role in the movie shortly after.

Roman Reigns shared some behind-the-scenes photos, which was a rarity at a time when Reigns was on a medical hiatus from WWE, undergoing treatment for Leukemia.

The former WWE Universal Champion filmed his segment of the movie in Hawaii before his WWE return, in which The Big Dog delivered the incredible news that he's in remission, before making his full-time comeback to the company. Reigns was recently moved to SmackDown Live in the Superstar Shake-Up, where it looks like he'll have a huge role going forward.

The heart of the matter

The second trailer for Hobbs & Shaw dropped today, and the WWE Universe finally caught a glimpse of Roman Reigns on the big screen!

Well, the former WWE Champion has now spoken out on his role, repeating that word "family" that he used in his previous post about the movie.

What's next?

The film is scheduled to be released in August 2019, so you can bet there'll be more trailers, snippets, photos and promotional materials released featuring both The Rock and Roman Reigns before then.
