WWE News: Two more Superstars qualify for Men's Elimination Chamber Match

Five
Five out of the six competitors are now confirmed

What's the story?

With three Superstars for the Men's Elimination Chamber Match already confirmed, two more qualifying matches took place on WWE RAW tonight.

Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt kicked off a new-look RAW tonight to compete for the fourth spot in the number one contender's match - and Roman Reigns sealed his place in the match.

The fifth man was also confirmed as The Miz took on Apollo Crews, with the Intercontinental Champion emerging victorious.

The winner of the Elimination Chamber Match will go on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at WrestleMania.

In case you didn't know...

The Elimination Chamber is set to be a historic night already with the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber Match being announced, but the Men's match is shaping up to be quite the classic too!

Five men are now announced for the match, with John Cena, Elias and Braun Strowman sealing their place last week.

The heart of the matter

Well, the opener was a close fought match, but Roman Reigns won the match via a Spear to stamp his ticket to the Elimination Chamber to fight it out for a spot at WrestleMania.

The match did have its twists and turns. Bray even hit the Sister Abigail - but Roman kicked out, becoming the first man to kick out of the move in 27 months!

In the end, the power of The Big Dog was too much for The Eater of Worlds, though, and Reigns is confirmed as the fourth man to enter the match.

The second qualifier of the night was Miz against Apollo Crews, and after an emotional promo from Miz, the athletic Crews looked like he might sneak a win.

The match was a very entertaining, athletic contest where Apollo shone with his incredible athleticism.

However, it was The Miz who would take the win after catching Apollo with the Skull-Crushing Finale to seal his place at the Elimination Chamber.

What's next?

Well, the sixth participant is still to be announced, but we now know that Roman Reigns and The Miz will join the three Superstars who qualified last week.

We'll also find out who will get the benefit of being the last man out of his chamber when those three men - John Cena, Elias and Braun Strowman - compete in a Triple Threat Match for the honour in tonight's main event.

Author's take

Well, it's no secret that Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is one of WWE's big plans for WrestleMania in a match that will see the only two men to defeat The Undertaker go one-on-one for the Universal Championship on the grandest stage of them all.

I think probably everyone had Reigns qualifying here, even if the Sister Abigail did set up a tense finish.

The Miz's match maybe got a bit more closer to being unpredictable, but it was always unlikely that the new Intercontinental Champion would lose.

Either way, The A-Lister and The Big Dog definitely add some excitement to an already stacked line-up for the Chamber.
