What’s the story?

Following their wild brawl on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, ‘The Big Dog’ Roman Reigns decided to send out a warning message to his newest adversary on the brand, ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ Jinder Mahal.

In case you didn’t know…

As noted, on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal was seen interfering in a Money in the Bank qualifying triple threat match between Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, and Roman Reigns.

Reigns, who was on the verge of booking his ticket to this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match was seemingly distracted by ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ in the closing stages of the contest, allowing Sami Zayn to capitalize and connect with a Helluva Kick.

However, by the end of the match, it was Finn Balor who stood tall when he pinned Sami Zayn via the Coupe de Grace.

The heart of the matter

This week’s episode of Raw in London, UK, kicked off with a brutal and wild brawl between both former WWE World Champions Roman Reigns and Jinder Mahal, who went on to beat the absolute living hell out of each other backstage of The O2 Arena.

Mahal, who was apparently slated to compete in a triple threat match on the evening for a spot at the upcoming MITB ladder match, eventually had to be pulled out from his scheduled match against Bobby Lashley and Elias due to a brutal spear through a wall by an unhinged Roman Reigns, who was out seeking retribution for last week.

Following Reigns’ two backstage attacks on Raw, ‘The Big Dog’ decided to put Mahal on notice yet again, but this time via social media, as the former WWE World Champion tweeted out the following and thus asking Mahal to make wiser and smarter choices from next time onwards.

What’s next?

Roman Reigns and Jinder Mahal are now absolutely bound to compete in a one-on-one match against each other in the near future and the two men could very well throw it down at this year’s MITB PPV.

Author’s Take

This feud between Mahal and Reigns is definitely not working very well for ‘The Big Dog’ and as we noted on Raw, the London crowd didn’t have a positive reaction for Reigns as they decided to cheer for the heel Jinder Mahal instead.
