WWE News: Roman Reigns sends The Miz a warning after Monday's attack to close Raw

What's the story?

The morning after Miz and The Miztourage attacked WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns to close out Monday Night Raw this week, "The Big Dog" took to Twitter to give a stern warning to The Miz. Check out that tweet below:

In case you didn't know...

There were two reasons why The Miz attacked Roman Reigns to close Raw out this week. The first was the fact that Reigns defeated him for the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the November 20th edition of Raw.

The other is what Reigns and his brothers of The Shield did to him after the cameras went off the air. The Shield would deliver their trademark Triple Powerbomb on Miz through the announce table on stage, basically writing Miz off of television as left to film The Marine 6: Close Quarters.

The heart of the matter...

Kurt Angle told The Miz on this week's edition of Monday Night Raw that he will receive his rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at the special 25th-anniversary edition of Raw in two weeks (January 22nd).

Miz made it well-known on Miz TV this week that he wasn't appreciative of what The Shield did to him on his way out the door to film the movie. After the main event of this week's Raw that saw the Balor Club take on the "Champions Club" of Seth Rollins, Jason Jordan, and Roman Reigns, that was when The Miz exacted some revenge on Reigns with the help of the Miztourage.

There is only one edition of Monday Night Raw before the big Raw 25 celebration, and it might be a week The Miz should take off if Reigns' tweet is any indication.

What's next?

Though I suggested that The Miz take off next week, there is a very good chance we will see him on next week's edition of Raw live from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. After missing the past six weeks prior, I'm sure he'll want to gloat for the attack on Reigns during his return.

Author's take...

To be honest, I should have seen it coming, but I was so excited for more Balor Club with Finn, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows, that I didn't expect a surprise attack by The Miz and The Miztourage.

This title match will add to what is going to truly be a special night for Raw 25. While I don't expect a title change, I do expect a fantastic match from both of these guys.
