What’s the story?

After outlasting six other men inside the first ever seven-man Elimination Chamber match earlier today, “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns is now all set to head to the main event of WrestleMania 34, as he prepares to square off against “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.

In case you didn’t know…

Having first squared off in the main event of WrestleMania 31, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar never had an official ending to their WWE Championship match from 2015, thanks to “The Architect” Seth Rollins, who cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and walked out of the Levi’s Stadium as the brand new WWE Champion.

The heart of the matter

Earlier today, we witnessed the first ever, historic seven-man Elimination Chamber match where seven of Monday Night Raw’s top stars went toe-to-toe with each other in order to earn a shot at Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, later this year.

Former three-time WWE Champion Roman Reigns eventually managed to survive the Chamber and six other men, as he walked out as the winner of this year’s Men’s Elimination Chamber match and following his massive win earlier on in the day, it has now been confirmed that Reigns is now slated to once again collide against Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 34, in a rematch between the two superstars from their WrestleMania 31 bout.

What’s next?

The Road to WrestleMania has now certainly kicked-off in style as both Reigns and Lesnar are set to go toe-to-toe on the 8th of April, 2018 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the United States. However, first, the two men will also come face-to-face on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw.
