What's the story?

Ronda Rousey stepped up to Stephanie McMahon this week on Raw and when the boss refused to back down and reinstate Becky Lynch, Rousey was forced to leave the Women's Championship with the Commissioner to make a point.

In case you didn't know...

Ronda Rousey and Natalya were able to defeat The Riott Squad quite easily on Monday Night Raw before Becky Lynch made her way through the crowd and attacked Rousey with her crutches once again. This time Rousey was prepared and fought back but she then called out Vince McMahon and decided it was time to reinstate Lynch so that the two women could do battle at WrestleMania.

Stephanie McMahon was the one who answered and refused to accept any of Rousey's demands which then led to the Women's Champion talking about how she felt that the belt was disrespected and it didn't suit her anymore.

The heart of the matter

Ronda Rousey left the Raw Women's Championship in the ring after her confrontation with Stephanie McMahon which has left the WWE Universe speculating over the past few days about the future of the title.

Becky Lynch obviously responded to Rousey's decision, telling the former UFC Champion to go back and get the title, which is where Rousey was able to explain that she was trying to make a point so that Lynch would be given the chance to fight for it at WrestleMania.

What's next?

Ronda Rousey's actual opponent for WrestleMania is currently Charlotte Flair and with the biggest show of the year now just over a month away there is a slim chance that WWE could change the plans and allow Lynch to wrestle in the main event.
