What’s the story?

Ronda Rousey was present backstage for this Wednesday’s NXT tapings.

Apparently, Rousey has returned to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and was backstage at the Full Sail University earlier this week. Additional details on the same have also been revealed.

In case you didn’t know…

Women’s MMA pioneer and former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey made her RAW debut after the Elimination Chamber PPV and has been involved in a storyline with The Authority.

Rousey is yet to compete in a WWE Match, and experts believe that the Olympic medalist’s very first WWE match could indeed come to fruition at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

The heart of the matter

Ronda Rousey is presently said to be training at the WWE Performance Center for her debut match.

Rousey was also backstage for this past Wednesday’s NXT tapings (March 7th, 2018). Apparently, per multiple accounts in the professional wrestling community, Rousey has been incredibly studious about the matches, promos and ring-work in the WWE, and is widely praised for being a keen observer—something that seemingly continued at this Wednesday’s NXT tapings.

Furthermore, Rousey is also expected to appear on every episode of RAW until WrestleMania 34—continuing her ongoing storyline wherein she teams up with RAW General Manager Kurt Angle to take on The Authority (Triple H and Stephanie McMahon).

What’s next?

The WWE has confirmed that Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle will face Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in a Mixed Tag Team Match which takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 8th.

Author’s take

Kudos to Ronda Rousey for displaying such a prodigious approach to the subtle art of professional wrestling/sports-entertainment.

Rousey seems to be incredibly passionate about her career in the WWE, and as she’s proven in multiple spheres, be it the Olympics or MMA, the 'Rowdy One' will stop at nothing to succeed.
