What’s the story?

WWE newest signing and former UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey was recently a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, during which the Mixed Martial Arts veteran talked about teaming up with fellow Olympian and WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 34, where they will collide against the team of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match.

In case you didn’t know…

Ronda Rousey made her much-awaited WWE debut back in January during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, where she was involved in an altercation with Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Smackdown Live Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, and the winner of the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match, Asuka.

Following her debut, Rousey would go on to sign her WWE contract at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and officially join the WWE roster.

The heart of the matter

Earlier in the week, Ronda Rousey would appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in order to discuss her upcoming WWE debut at WrestleMania 34 against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, in an exclusive interview with co-host Ellen DeGeneres.

Rousey admitted that she is indeed really nervous regarding her WrestleMania 34 match and her initial WWE in-ring debut, however, the former UFC Bantamweight Champion noted that things are apparently not as hectic as they were prior to her participation in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

Additionally, the 31-year-old superstar claimed that the worst thing that could happen to her at WrestleMania 34 is that she will look stupid, which seemingly isn’t so terrible.

"I can't think of the last time I was so excited for anything, [where] I'm like really looking forward to it.”

What’s next?

Following Rousey’s absence from this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, it has been confirmed that the former Strikeforce Bantamweight Women’s Champion will appear on the last edition of Raw before WrestleMania 34, which is slated to take place on the 8th of April at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, in New Orleans.

Author’s Take

I think, at WrestleMania 34, Ronda Rousey will do just fine for herself, and we shouldn’t overlook the fact that she has very little training when it comes to Pro Wrestling. But, with the likes of Triple H and Kurt Angle, I’m pretty sure that Rousey will be able to rely on these WWE in-ring veterans and eventually put up a presentable match at ‘Mania 34.
