In case you didn't know...
Becky Lynch had made herself a thorn in the side of WWE with her continuous attacks on WWE's RAW Women's Championship and Charlotte Flair ever since she was removed from the WrestleMania 35 match. She had also been suspended by Vince McMahon.
During an attack last week, she was arrested and taken away by the police on the show.
However, this week, Stephanie McMahon announced that the 60-day suspension was lifted and on top of that, WWE was dropping all charges against 'The Man' Becky Lynch.
The heart of the matter
Becky Lynch was handed an opportunity to gain back her RAW Women's Championship match when Stephanie McMahon came out and announced her match against Charlotte Flair at WWE Fastlane.
However, there was a caveat. To be a part of the match, Becky Lynch would have to sign a contract which stated that WWE was not in any way liable for any injury she suffered during the course of her match.
Becky Lynch did sign the agreement, but there was one more development waiting for the WWE Universe as Ronda Rousey made her way to the ring.
Rousey demanded her title back and was handed the Championship.
Stephanie McMahon said that if Rousey wanted it, then Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair would face each other in a match at WWE Fastlane.
If Lynch won the match, then she would be added to the RAW Women's Championship Match at WrestleMania.
Something in Ronda Rousey snapped as she said that she was done pretending she was okay with only entertaining the crowd.
She attacked Charlotte and threw her out of the ring, and then attacked Becky Lynch. After knocking her down, she tried to snap the arm of her opponent.
She continued the attack, leaving Lynch writhing on the ground clutching her arm to her chest.
Ronda Rousey said that she was done playing 'nice'. The attack was brutal, and it remains to be seen if Becky will be able to compete at all in the match at WWE Fastlane anymore.
This Ronda Rousey was anything except the calm fan favourite Rousey that the WWE Universe has gotten to know.
