Former WWE superstar B. Brian Blair revealed on the The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast that he quit WWE in 1988 because Vince McMahon broke his promise to give him a title run.

Brian revealed that McMahon wasn't keen on letting him go and even tried to stop him:

“He tried to talk me out of it... He said, ‘Talk about it for a minute.’ Vince is a good worker too, so you never know if he’s shooting. When I said that, he just kind of gave me a smile and he hesitated, a little smile, because I said, ‘Can I give you my two-week notice?’ He said, ‘Can you give me a month?’ He goes, ‘I really hate to see you go, Brian.’”

Blair was the tag team partner of Jim Brunzell and their team was called the Killer Bees. He stayed with WWE from 1985 til 1988 when he requested his release.

Austin Theory was handed a loss this week on RAW thanks to AJ Styles. Despite picking up a win against Finn Balor last week, the young superstar was no match for The Phenomenal One.

Before the match, Vince McMahon had told Theory to take a selfie with AJ Styles after beating him. The former NXT superstar was unable to complete the mission given by the Chairman.

After the match, AJ Styles took a shot at Theory saying ''Sorry kid, not tonight," after denying Theory an opportunity to take another selfie.
